Carolyn Porco is a planetary scientist who worked on the imaging team of Voyager 1 and Voyager 2 during the outer-planet encounters and went on to lead the imaging science team of Cassini–Huygens throughout its thirteen years at Saturn — the eye behind many of the mission's most famous pictures, including views of Enceladus' plumes and of Earth seen through Saturn's rings.
