LORRI

LORRI — the Long Range Reconnaissance Imager — is New Horizons's telescopic camera, built at the Johns Hopkins Applied Physics Laboratory. It tracked Pluto from a distant point of light into a world of ice mountains and nitrogen plains during the 2015 flyby, and did the same for the Kuiper Belt object Arrokoth in 2019.
