OSIRIS — the Optical, Spectroscopic, and Infrared Remote Imaging System — was Rosetta's scientific camera system, a narrow-angle and a wide-angle camera developed by a consortium led by the Max Planck Institute for Solar System Research. It mapped comet 67P's two-lobed nucleus in detail, tracked its jets and outbursts as the comet neared the Sun, and even located the lost Philae lander in its shadowed crevice near the end of the mission.
