The Imaging Science Subsystem is the pair of vidicon-tube cameras — one narrow-angle, one wide-angle — carried by Voyager 1 and Voyager 2. Between them the two spacecraft's cameras photographed all four giant planets, discovered volcanoes on Io, and produced 1990's "Family Portrait" of the solar system, including the Pale Blue Dot image of Earth — the last pictures the Voyagers took before their cameras were switched off to save power.
