The European Space Agency, founded in 1975, is the intergovernmental space agency of more than twenty European member states. Of the probes on record here, ESA flew Giotto — its first deep-space mission — and Rosetta with its Philae lander, and contributed the Huygens Titan lander to Cassini–Huygens.
